What is Meditation?

Meditation is an ancient practice that dates back thousands of years.  It involves focusing and clearing your mind using a variety of techniques, bringing your awareness inwards and to the present moment.  It can help sharpen the mind and our consciousness, provides a way of escaping our racing thoughts and quietens the mind.  With regular practice, it can give us the skills to become more focused and aware of our surroundings whilst giving us the tools to negotiate situations more effectively.  Meditation can be used to help relieve stress and anxiety, or to simply relax and find some time to be still.  There are many forms of mediation involving different postures, visualisations or mantras and the beauty of meditation is there is no correct way to do it, with time and patience you will find the way that works for you.

What to expect

I offer a number of guided mediation sessions including twice monthly group sessions working with the lunar energies around the new moon and full moon.  Additionally, I also offer one to one sessions where we can focus on a specific goal or achievement.  There will also be one off events and workshops around occasions or particular topics that will involve meditation, other practices and techniques.
